The global pandemic has created an opportunity for tech firms to disrupt the automotive industry, according to Carro Group CMO Manisha Seewal.
Seewal says that the traditional showroom-based way of buying and selling cars has been disrupted by COVID-19. This has prompted Singapore-based Carro, south east Asia’s last car marketplace, to “re-think customer experience to reflect that the world is going hyper digital”.
Seewal’s session also focused on how digital platforms have brought agility into the car-buying space and the opportunity to empower customers with technology and data.
