In possibly the best thing for Anglo-German relations since Jürgen Klopp joined Liverpool, MAD//Fest and DMEXCO have joined forces to announce MAD//Fest × DMEXCO@home – a virtual global gathering of the industry’s top marketers landing on 23-24 September.
German giant DMEXCO has entered a strategic partnership with the UK upstart to bring the MAD//Fest experience to DMEXCO@home – 2020’s largest virtual event for the media and marketing industry. Just like DMEXCO’s annual expo and conference in Cologne, DMEXCO@home is packed with heavyweight keynotes, targeted networking and meetings.
MAD//Fest × DMEXCO@home will create a virtual pub for marketing leaders to experience a fast-paced mix of 180 second keynotes from brand marketers and disruptors, live entertainment and peer-to-peer networking enabled by DMEXCO’s interactive networking tool – a recommendation engine that gives attendees the ability to connect with the most relevant people to meet.
The virtual event launch comes hot-on-the-heels of MAD//Fest and New Digital Age’s 99//Club Digital Festival, which attracted 3,400 industry execs from 15-19 Jun and featured 99 speakers from firms including VICE, Coca-Cola, Starling Bank, made.com, AB InBev, GSK, Unilever, Tenzing and O2. The event also featured a House Party in partnership with Defected Records.
Following the outbreak of coronavirus, MAD//Fest has deployed a multichannel strategy where face-to-face and virtual events co-exist to entertain, inspire and connect people. MAD//Fest London will take place on 11-12 November.
