S4 Capital Executive Chairman Sir Martin Sorrell is confirmed to keynote MAD//Fest on 12 Nov, which will see speakers tackle the theme of ‘Emerge Stronger’.
Sir Martin, who recently stated that brands will “let rip in Q4” after a tumultuous 2020, believes that the coronavirus crisis will accelerate existing trends such as digital disruption and advertisers shifting budgets to digital.
“The story of 2020 is only just unfolding but amid all the uncertainty, there is optimism that we can emerge stronger and turn disruption into opportunity,” said MAD//Fest London founder and content director Dan Brain.
“The ‘Emerge Stronger’ theme is a rallying call for the industry and a chance to discover how innovation, creativity and big ideas are our most powerful assets. We’re excited that MAD//Fest attendees will benefit from Sir Martin’s experience of steering agencies and clients through recessions, disruption and economies that roar back.”
Sir Martin will be joined by 150 brand, agency and platform leaders including Not On The High St CMO Ella D’Amato, Zoopla CMO Gary Bramall and Resi Founder/CEO Alexandra Depledge MBE.
MAD//Fest is the UK’s only large scale invite-only festival. This year’s event will bring together 5,000+ leaders for two days of brand and disruptor keynotes, £20k brand innovation challenges and networking in a giant pub kitted out with emerging technologies.
Sold out in 2018 and 2019, MAD//Fest was named the UK’s Best Networking event in 2019 at the UK Event Awards and will return in 2020 with additional stages, a new innovation market and tech experiences designed to promote discovery and building relationships.
