Marketers must stop adding to the pollution and “embrace courageous change and innovation”, if they are to remain relevant, according to Barbarian ECD Resh Sidhu.
In a powerful 3 minute talk at MAD//Fest x DMEXCO@home, Sidhu called for “less talk and more innovation”, as well as “untamed creativity” in order to remain relevant. Sidhu also called for the industry to truly embrace diversity and improve its track-record for poor levels of diversity in leadership positions.
Over 80 speakers from brands including Diageo, Fever-Tree, VICE, Direct Line and Just-Eat spoke at the event last month. MAD//Fest will be publishing video highlights over the coming weeks.
